MEPs Warn Media Restrictions Undermine Transparency in Conflict Reporting
Sixty-one Members of the European Parliament are urging the EU to pressure Israel to allow independent foreign journalists into Gaza, arguing that current restrictions prevent accurate reporting from the conflict zone. In a letter to EU leaders, they say that access has remained limited to controlled, military-escorted visits despite a ceasefire since October 2025.
